Introduction to Spiritual Healing : An overview of spiritual healing.
Energy healing or spiritual healing is a phrase that refers to many different things. In this case, however, we define what we mean by the phrase and talk about the physical and spiritual principles behind it and how it works.
This article, and its portion, is founded on the objective of reaching out to and helping others spiritually, looking further than just their physical needs. This is because our Body, Mind, and Soul are all related. That is what defines the word "Holistic".
When a person comes to me with physical pain - more than likely it can stem from either, or a combination of, emotional, etheric, genetic, or energetic roots.
The more concentrated I am on helping to assist a client to grow or heal spiritually during the spiritual healing session, the less we are apt to drift away from the ultimate goals of Life. I feel the ultimate goals in our lives should be to be filled with Joy, Health, Prosperity, and Love. The more I keep my intentions as to the Higher Purpose of Life in Mind, while holding an energy spiritual healing session, the greater help, I believe, I will get from our Creator God, (or Universe, Allah, Buddha, or whomever you like to refer to), during the spiritual healing session, because those Life Goals are what God had planned for all of us, and desires for us.
During every session, I call on, and command to God, in all of my healing sessions, to do the healing work...so you can understand that it is not I who is doing the healing- I am only a witness to it.

What Does Spiritual Healing Mean?
Research conducted by spiritual disciplines indicates that as many as 80% of the problems in a person's life can be traced back to the spiritual dimension.
If the root cause of a problem is in the spiritual dimension, then it must be counteracted or treated by a method which is spiritually stronger than the cause, or a method that gets to the root of the problem. This is what is called spiritual healing. This requires using spiritual energy in helping to erase the disturbance. Such an example would be to eliminate the root cause of the problem. In many of the cases, the cause of the problem might be that the person is holding outdated beliefs that no longer serve them, and that while these beliefs may have served a purpose, or kept them safe while in that person's other lifetime, or earlier time in this lifetime, it is now impeding on the person's growth and well being and needs to be removed.

What Can Spiritual Healing Help Me With?
Often times, a client may come to me with an area of chronic, long standing pain. This client will have already had this problem for many years and at this point is frustrated because of seeking and getting help from a variety of practitioners such as Chiropractic, Acupuncture, Physical Therapy, Personal Physician, etc, but to no avail. When seeking treatment for it by these various methods, the result is that the area cannot be resolved- or that the area gets better and feels okay for a certain time period, but then the pain returns at some point- with the same disturbing and high level of intensity.
I occasionally see instances with my in-person Bodywork clients, where the physical area will have a certain feel to it- and that it does not respond and result in the usual and normal way to my bodywork massage- which is to have the pain, swelling, or knot subside, diminish, and then disappear- as I work on it manually.
In these few cases- this is when I recommend having a distant healing session, or then, include a spiritual healing session alongside with the manual bodywork session.
Based on the above example, we can now appreciate that heart disease can actually be caused due to a spiritual reason. A medical problem (resulting from a spiritual root cause), when treated medically or surgically, can only alleviate the damage done as a consequence of the spiritual root cause. Thus by treating the heart condition by surgery or medicine, medical sciences can at best bring about a symptomatic cure. The condition, however, reoccurs because the root cause (for example, the ghost or negative energy) is still active and has not been taken care of.
Spiritual healing can be defined as one of the most controversial, yet intriguing, category of alternative and complementary medicine. There have been countless cases where people who have been afflicted with conditions such as cancer or the inability to walk have had their tumor disappear or can suddenly walk after a spiritual healing. I have witnessed other practitioners successfully make these both happen, so I can absolutely support the claims that spiritual healing does in fact work.
Here, Greg Braden shows an example of energy healing being used to diffuse and delete a cancerous tumor.
I really don't consider this a miracle anymore....I consider this as something that is a normal ability that we all have carried, since our creation from God (or whomever you call as your 'Creator', or 'Universe', or 'Allah', 'Buddha', etc.). We are all just now waking back up to our powerful selves.
