Right after she finished, my neck felt so loose that I thought my head might just fall off there was so much ease and mobility. Many times during the session I had confirmation that she was tuning in to what was happening to my body. She really knows what she's doing."

The client in red sweater had her hip replaced. This resulted in extreme pain in legs, right hip, and right foot. The pain was so bad, she had to periodically lay down on couch to ice her feet and legs. After 1 session she was able to move the next day 3 King size beds, plus walk the long distance back to her hotel after attending an outdoor concert, without having to call an Uber.
1st session accomplished diminished low back pain, loosened upper body.

Do not for one moment think that you have to live with the pain or dysfunction. Allow me to help your body correct itself naturally, the way it was created to.
Have you already been treated by your doctor, Physical Therapist, chiropractor, or massage therapist for chronic pain but it's still there? Do not give up hope. I have been able to help others find relief from pain in these situations. I help the body to release the fascia and offer coaching to help you gain emotional freedom.
I believe stress, if not released, can build up and show up in the body as pain or disease. This causes pain and restrictions, which is the body's way of informing you that something needs to be corrected.
Myofascial Release also relieves stress, similar to or at times better than Swedish massage, without having to undress, and I do not use any oils or lotions during the session.
Pain relief for dogs, cats, and horses is also available. Click here for Emotional Stress, Anxiety, Panic Attacks help.
Myofascial Release, made most popular by John F. Barnes, is a simple and inexpensive bodywork massage method that releases the fascia, leading to pain reduction, and most of the time, pain elimination. Emotional and mental stresses are also released giving the client a feeling of wholeness and profound relaxation.
Using mild, gentle to firm or deep, hands-on sustained fascia manipulation, it is done without oils or lotion. Allowing the fascia connective tissue to release its bindings, restrictions, and adhesions helps us to develop a healthier state of body and mind.
Fascia is similar to a web of fabric and connects continuously from the top of our head to the end of our toes. When there has been long term poor posture, trauma, injury, inflammation, or emotional stress the fascia restructures itself and toughens up, creating scarring and adhesions, thinking that it is protecting the injured areas and guarding from further trauma.

The Myofascial Release perspective believes that it is within the intricate matrix of the myofascial, or connective tissue that holds memory and the myofascial tissue is literally the record keeper of memory in the body/mind complex.
When trauma occurs, whether physical, mental, emotional or a combination of these, people respond with a flight/fight or freeze response. It is this unresolved freeze response that holds us back from fully and naturally healing from a traumatic event. Stress and worry act similarly. Anxiety symptoms and symptoms of depression may surface.
You can get relief with releasing your anxiety symptoms and symptoms of depression in the process of Myofascial Release and Craniosacral Therapy that Vicki does.

Vicki Mah with John F. Barnes, her myofascial release teacher, Cape Cod
On my first day of my Myofascial Release class in Cape Cod, after hearing the morning lecture taught by John F. Barnes the founder of it, I had a question to ask him, that I wanted to ask in private. So I waited until break before I stepped up to the podium to quickly get my question to him. His back was turned, as he was reaching for his glass of water to drink.
As he turned around to face me, I suddenly became overcome with tears, which usually occurs when I am in the presence of people who contain within themselves great healing powers and intuitiveness. The tears signify a healing process is taking place within me.
After wiping some tears away, and as he kindly smiled, I asked my question and he helpfully answered. As I was turning away, satisfied with his answer, he then added..... "You're going to be good at this."
At my very first Myofascial Release intensive in Cape Cod with John F. Barnes, at the very beginning of my bodywork path, I had never touched a client in my life. And something happened that first day in class that I have never forgotten. The room was large and dark, filled with students paired up, one of them lying on tables for the other student to practice on. As my partner lay face up and John began guiding us on how to make contact on our class partners, I closed my eyes as he instructed. And out of nowhere, I felt the presence of a whale.
The whale didn't speak in words. It communicated to me telepathically, the way we all used to communicate in the beginning. The same way that dogs and animals do now. This was the first time I had ever noticed receiving communication that way. And now I hear from higher beings naturally this way all the time, as do many other people.
It communicated through its natural way of being, which was a steady, still, deep, and powerfully subtle, yet strong presence. I somehow knew to imitate this way of being. And under my hands, through my partner's clothing, I felt the body below her skin beginning slight movements.
The moment my mind wandered back to monkey-mind thoughtless thinking, the movement stopped. When I returned to that quiet, settled state, of being blank with no thoughts, the movement returned. This happened many times, back and forth, until I understood what I was meant to learn. Being present is the key instrument to freedom. Stillness is the technique. This state is now second to nature in me and the foundation of everything I do with clients, whether I am working hands-on, remotely, or over the phone and how I live my life.
