Something to Consider
It's best to book 50 minutes of time for 1st appointment, if you can, but even 45 or 30 minutes is better than not having any therapy.
With long term chronic and deep conditions you may not be sensitive enough yet to feel the difference in your body. Please don't worry because even though you may not feel it, there has been improvements from fascia release. It is the same as the peeling of an onion- we have to go by it layer after layer and this requires you go through a process.
With that in mind, it may require multiple sessions before beginning on a maintenance schedule.
Even though Vicki may have resolved your pain issue at your first visit, please keep in mind that Myofascial Release and Intuitive Energy Bodywork is most effectively done as a treatment program with a frequency of one to three times per week for several weeks. This allows the tissues to release, the body to move back into proper alignment, and for the home exercises to be practiced and understood for continued improvement and maintenance.
You may feel tired and sore the next couple days, as your body is healing and releasing toxins, but afterwards will feel better than ever! It was as if you did yoga or had an extreme workout, (even though the session was gentle). Do rest the day of your massage and be kind to your body and remember to drink plenty of pure water. Let the body rest for a few days after, not subjecting it to any physical stress ( such as working out, or walking excessively far).
