How to Prepare for Your Session
" I had chronic pain in my upper back that radiated down my arms. Chiropractic treatments had confirmed a bone just below my neck (C7) was pushed forward, but no one had been able to get it to pop back into place. Vicki agreed to see me on short notice at the end of the day, so there wasn't much time available for her to work. Within seconds, I could feel heat and energy flowing through Vicki's hands as she placed them at various spots on my back. The treatment took perhaps 20 minutes total. When she was done, I felt like "What back?" There was no pain at all! I'm very grateful to Vicki. Make an appointment with this gifted healer right now, because she is going to be in high demand very soon! "

Please wear something elastic and loose fitting at the waist. Running shorts would be good.
You will not be entirely bare of clothes, as you would be in a Swedish massage, keeping your underwear on.
Please come to your session free of any lotion, oils, or cologne on your body. It is difficult to obtain fascia release when there is lotion or oils on the body and I am sensitive to cologne scents.
Please remember to silence your cell phone. I would like this time to be dedicated to your comfort, health and relaxation.
Please fill out and return the Client Information sheet prior to your session. Doing this ahead of time gives you the leisure of filling it out thoroughly. Doing it ahead of time also allows you to read the important information it contains and to fill it out completely, plus gives me the time to become familiar with you before your session. This is an online form and can be filled out from smart phones, too.
Please remember to drink plenty of water after your session. It is very important that your body is hydrated to prevent the releasing from continuing. Your body will still continue to process the fascia work for 24 to 48 hours to even possibly 1 week.
You may experience headache, feel nauseous, emotionally upset, or feeling tired and sleepy. These are toxins coming up to be released -which is good. It's part of the path for the body to heal itself when it has undergone intense fascia work and it's best to pay attention to it and remain neutral about it, rather than stuff it back down or fight it.
It is best to have follow-up visits, within 4 days- even though you may feel pain free- there are usually more knots to remove in the lower layers that will come up needing to be released.
