Yesterday I had the opportunity to help 5 women, who as co-workers, wanted to spend a nice relaxing day de-stressing. I only had 20 minutes to spend with each lady. The first one has a history diabetes and extreme pain in the stomach area. The pain dissappeared after I did Orthopedic Structural massage and Myofascial Release. She was grateful for the pain relief and I explained the body is always able to heal it self and can change to however we create it to. I also did Craniosacral and she was able to relax stress and get more relaxed. The second had knee surgery 5 years ago, and a device placed in it, with pain now and also a huge, swollen, discolored area around the ankle bone from sports. We both felt the swelling flatten at the ankle and the knee and ankle pain immediately left as I touched it. She was anxious to try that at home to relieve pain and I explained that everyone, even the children, can help the body heal itself just by their touch. The knee felt lighter and more flexible after.  The third gal had extreme pain in the upper back and shoulder area and headaches.  As I did Craniosacral in her chest area she felt a huge pressure appear waiting to leave. As I released the fascia in her upper back the pain immediately left and a huge smile appeared on her face. She was both fascinated and relieved  that the headache and painful upper back left so quickly and easily. The next woman had a history of deep lower back pain. She just could not get any relief for it when she tried. After I did Orthopedic Structural massage on her she was so happy that the pain was quickly gone and when I asked her how she felt she replied, "I felt like I have a new back", with a big smile. The fifth woman had pain and stiffness in her upper legs at both the front and the back areas (quads and hamstrings) and she thought it was caused from sitting at the computer desk for long periods-which it probably was. After her session was over and I had finished releasing the pain in her legs and provide relaxation to her, she wanted to end by giving me a big hug. It was a very happy 3 hour pain release session for everyone, including me!
